Welcome to the Office of District Support Services (ODSS)! Our office provides information and support for district programs that ensure a strong foundation for education, including: high-quality facilities designed to maximize student learning; safe and secure transportation for students; school nutrition programs that rank first in the nation; coordinated health services that provide students with physical and emotional support in school; student information systems used to collect important data about students and communicate with parents and the public; and education funding, including the SEEK (Support Education Excellence in Kentucky) program.

Meet the Associate Commissioner of the Office of District Support Services: Larry Stinson, Ed.D
Dr. Larry Stinson has 34 years of educational experience and was superintendent of the Ft. Thomas Independent school district from 1994 until June 2007. Along with the traditional duties of school superintendent, he also handled many financial duties, including tax rate calculations, state funding estimates and budget development.
Dr. Stinson’s prior experience includes serving as superintendent for the Whitley County Consolidated School District in Indiana and for the Bremen Public School District in Indiana. He also has served as an assistant professorial lecturer at Thomas More College, high school principal, teacher and band director.
