The Kentucky Alternate Assessment Program conducts training sessions and meetings throughout the year for teachers and administrators involved with this program. Below are materials used in the trainings and meetings, and some of the questions asked by participants.
Located on the following websites are additional trainings developed to help understand key areas of the alternate portfolio. The trainings are OPTIONAL; they will not be a required part of the administration of the portfolio. However, the trainings provide detailed information regarding “SUPPORTS vs. PROMPTS” and “THE TOP 10 PITFALLS” about the alternate portfolio.
