Consumer Economics is a one-credit, interdisciplinary course that meets the academic credit for economics within the social studies requirement or as an elective for family and consumer sciences. This course will focus on social studies core content for KCCT and the skill assessment on career and technical state/national mandated standards. The family and consumer sciences teacher and the social studies teacher work together in planning and evaluating the course.
